Terms & Conditions

Please review these terms before purchasing tickets or using our services.

Overview

Before browsing this website or reserving seats on a Thousand Islands sailing, please take a few minutes to read the information below. These terms explain how our platform works, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you in return. By continuing to use the site or completing a booking, you confirm that you understand and accept these terms.

What We Do

This website is operated by Thousand Island Tours. We provide online ticket reservations for sightseeing cruises departing from Clayton and Alexandria Bay in the Thousand Islands region of New York. When you complete a purchase through our website, you are reserving directly with us. We handle ticket issuance, confirmations, customer service and payment coordination.

We provide valid boarding tickets for the date and departure time you select. We do not control external conditions such as weather on the St. Lawrence River, water levels, travel delays, personal scheduling conflicts, or operational changes made by the vessel operator.

Using the Website

This website is intended for personal use only. You agree not to misuse it, attempt unauthorised access, or scrape content, schedules or pricing data. All information entered during checkout — including passenger names, contact details and sailing dates — must be accurate and complete.

Pricing and Payments

Ticket prices shown on the website may include service and processing fees. The total amount is displayed before you finalise payment. Once payment is confirmed, your booking price is fixed. Payments are processed through secure third-party providers; we do not store complete card numbers or security codes on our servers. Prices are quoted in US dollars unless stated otherwise.

Cancellations and Refunds

Each ticket type carries its own cancellation conditions, which are shown before purchase. With Ticket Assurance, Cancellation and Rescheduling up to 24 hours before the scheduled cruise. Otherwise Rescheduling up to 72 hours in advance. Bookings without Ticket Assurance are non-refundable from the moment of purchase. Tickets already used, scanned or past their scheduled sailing date cannot be refunded. If a sailing is cancelled by the operator due to weather or mechanical issues, you may rebook for another available departure or request a full refund.

Payment Disputes

If you believe there is an issue with your order, you agree to contact us directly before initiating a payment dispute. Most issues are resolved quickly by email. Starting a chargeback without contacting us first may delay resolution. Abusive or fraudulent disputes may result in restricted access to our platform.

Our Responsibility

We are responsible for issuing valid tickets that match the details confirmed at checkout. We are not responsible for:

  • Changes to vessel operator schedules or route adjustments
  • Personal travel delays, border crossing times or parking availability
  • Missed boarding times or late arrival at the dock
  • Weather, river conditions or other circumstances beyond our control

Our responsibility is limited to the amount paid for the specific booking in question.

Content and Ownership

All written content, branding, photography, layout and design materials on this website are owned by or licensed to Thousand Island Tours. Reproducing or distributing website content without written permission is not allowed.

Suspension of Access

We may restrict or suspend access for users who violate these terms, submit fraudulent disputes, or otherwise misuse the platform.

Changes to These Terms

From time to time, updates may be made to these terms. The revised version will be posted on this page. Continuing to use the website after changes are published indicates acceptance.
